Intel® Transparent Supply Chain

Intel® Transparent Supply Chain (Intel® TSC) is a set of tools designed to enhance the security and traceability of platform components during manufacturing. Intel TSC identifies the insertion of counterfeit components or attempts at device tampering by comparing platform snapshots taken at the first boot with the OEM/ODM information collected during manufacturing. While Intel TSC alerts you to any changes, it does not have the capability to update devices with altered components.

On the other hand, Intel Platform Lifecycle Assurance (PLA) is a separate Intel TSC service that allows you to update and create baseline records for your fleet of devices, even when those devices come from multiple vendors. PLA requires a separate subscription.
