Intel® Platform Lifecycle Assurance

Platform Lifecycle Assurance (Intel PLA) is a framework designed to ensure the security, reliability, and trustworthiness of computing platforms throughout their entire lifecycle. Intel PLA leverages technologies such as cryptographic attestation, secure boot processes, and transparent supply chain practices to protect against threats like tampering, unauthorized modifications, and supply chain vulnerabilities.

Intel PLA is an-on feature for Intel® Transparent Supply Chain that requires a separate subscription. It enables users to update the Device Configuration Data (DCD) file, which contains hardware and software configuration data, security settings, and the operational state of the device. The DCD file is used as a standard for future comparisons, enabling the detection of any deviations.
